Jason Roe brings more than 20 years of experience on campaigns and public policy at the federal, state and local levels. A Washington veteran, Jason served as chief of staff to Congressman Tom Feeney (R-FL) and in the Bush Administration as chief of staff of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Jason worked as deputy campaign manager to Mitt Romney’s 2008 presidential run and managed nationally watched congressional campaigns including former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (TX), Chief Deputy Whip Peter Roskam (IL), and House Impeachment Manager Jim Rogan (CA).
Active in international democracy-building, Jason was an international election observer in the Liberia and Nigeria presidential elections, advised Bulgaria’s Union of Democratic Forces in their parliamentary elections, and in 2003, led a 20-person team of Iraqi nationals in developing the first analysis of the country’s emerging political parties after the fall of Saddam Hussein regime. In 2005, Jason was named a Manfred Woerner Fellow at the U.S. German Marshal Fund.
Jason was named a “Rising Star” by Campaigns & Elections Magazine and one of the “35 Under 35″ most effective staffers on Capitol Hill by The Hill Newspaper. A frequent commentator in the national media on politics and policy, Jason is a native of Michigan and a graduate of Western Michigan University, with a BA in Public Administration and Economics. He lives in San Diego with his wife and son.
